Not sure what all you are doing, but make sure you make a scribe mark for the original orientation of the pulse generator/spark advancer 1983 CX650 Turbo 1982 CX500 Custom Donating Member    Report

07-31-2009, 4:48 PM Abes_CW Joined on 04-17-2007 saskatoon Posts 3,037 Re: Removing Rear Engine Cover And if that is done, press in on the shifter shaft.  It can hang on the seal a bit, and if you pull the shaft with the cover, the spring attached to it can and will stretch out until it pops off.  Don't ask how I know this. 1983 GL650i Had 4 CX/GL's at one point this year, down to one, next spring is another adventure! age 38 (29 plus tax)    Report
