I have no time for this bike, no garage space and I'm feeling guilty that it is being left out in the elements. Weathered and a little rusty, she was parked 2 years ago with seized rear brakes and a sensor fault (can't remember which one) but the stator was good (15K miles). Has two nice gold rims, the engine should still be good, and it has a title. I was going to keep the fuel pump and a few other parts, and was going to list the CDI, computer, fairing, and instrument cluster for sale separately. It no longer has the brake calipers (took them off for rebuild and lost them during home renovation) and the mufflers are off it (the muffler bracket is on its way to PIM in the Netherlands) So.. If you are looking for a rolling basketcase CX500T with title, engine, and wheels, I'd like to donate it to someone who will put it to good use.

Why can't this ever happen to me in Alaska?
Sometimes I think its like another country where I live because of the distances from the lower 48.
Well at least the only illegal immigrants we get here are mostly caribou and moose.

Kirk Has it, he had the first PM. Should be a good parts bike because at 15K Mi. the engine has lots of life left even though the rest is rough.

Yes a very nice thing to do. I would have liked to fix it up and ride it but kirk can make good use of it I am sure, and he probably needs it more than I do since he is restoring one already. Anyone else giving away any bikes? :-)

I'll try to remove the fork pressure crossover hose tonight and let you know how it goes. It looks supple and undamaged.

I needed that hose for my ride because the gl650s don't have it, just a schrader valve on each fork. I picked up a kit for rear shocks (progressive has them) and it works great, forks always balanced and only one fill point. The cross over tube is 1/8" diameter clear tubing and hides under my handlebar, which I like. In case you cannot find a real one you might want to check it out. I don't endorse the outfit linked to below, but these are available from numerous vendors, and sometimes even on eBay, where I got mine.
