83 GL650 Interstate For Sale

Three and a half years ago I first met some of you at the Amish Rally. If you remember, I brought a GL650 I in the back of my truck on Thursday evening. I had it all shined up and running good. On Friday one group of riders came to the hangar where I work and it was offered for test rides. It was as near perfect as I could make it and I eventually sold it to one of my customers for $1800.00. This person also had a Honda Elite 150 Scooter and a 73 Triumph 750. He passed away in December and the GL650 is again for sale. He didn't put many miles on the GL but it will need a front seat cover (1" tear at the seam) plus there is a small rust spot (bulge) on the top of the right muffler. As far as I know that is all it needs. The rear seat is like new and since the saddlebags were already gone when I got ahold of it, we got a used pair off a 500 on Fleabay. They needed paint and a little bit of repair. I haven't seen them but I think they were worked on a bit but not finished. But they are there with all hardware and locks functional. I took some photos of it last week and will send them if anyone is interested. Current and correct mileage is 18,375. No internal engine work was ever done on this but I wouldn't be afraid to ride it 500 miles once it's cleaned and checked. PM me for further info. It is the silver/grey color.

Bump Again. This bike is still for sale. It took too long for the former owner's widow to produce the title, which is now in hand. Still searching for the saddle bag hardware though.
