03-02-2010, 7:03 PM Scott Joined on 03-03-2010 Houston Texas Posts 9 New Member Hello: I just got my 82 GL500 Interstate running after it had been sitting for 5 years, it is my first and only bike.  I live southwest of Houston if there is anyone else out there from these here parts yonder.  Now I have discovered that the charging system doesn't work.  I have read up on all the posts about checking the stator, and the rectifier/relays.  Now I have to hold back till I get home from work tomorrow to dive into this problem.  I had searched the internet far and wide to learn as much as I could, but nothing compares to this forum for information!  I did how ever run across a JPEG of the complete wiring system for my/our bike if anyone is interested.  Well until tomorrow, good night.
