78cb750f front forks and brakes on my 79 cx500

I have a set of forks from a 78 cb750 f.I want to install them on the cx500.Anything I need to know before I start this mod?

1. Add info on where you are + avitar, this way it doesn't feel like you just walked into the front door and asked us a question as a total stranger

2. Tell us why you are swaping parts, what is your end objectives. Other have tried to do things, they can relate and possibly help you

3. Get all you parts ahead of time' like head bearings. Did you get the tripple tree? Do you know what the brake swap will be like? Did you get a fork rebuild (oil and dust seals) kit? Do you know if the instruments will mount the same?...

4. Don't forget the pics - sized correctly. I see you are a man of few words... pics will help you.
