Sad but true..its time to sell my baby.
Its got 34,232 miles on it..has a radio, has all the luggage and the removable trunk, has a markland drivers floor boards and heel/toe shifter, and a markland passenger backrest. This bike is overall good condition. I rode it daily for 2 years. No troubles at all. I would drive this anywhere. It does have a bit of a weeping of coolant...by the top...but it stops when it is heated up. I changed the water pump gasket..so its not from there...maybe the o ring..not sure...but never enough to be concerned with and never overheated...no matter how long I rode. I also have the original owners manual..and a clymer manual that goes with it. My price is $1000 and i'm pretty firm. I will not sell the floorboards without the bike, but if you want the bike cheaper...i may be willing to negotiate..but the floorboards will come off the sale..and I will sell separately. I do have the foot pegs and shifter. I loved this bike..but i got a hell of a deal on a '93 venture royale and it is better suited for me and my wife as we love to take long rides...but the silverwing is great for 1 but not for 2 on long rides..plus we are, er..um..welll bigger people and we need a little more horsepower to get up some of the hills a little easier.

OMG....in less than 4 hours on craigslist...the bike is sold! Thanks for all your help on the forum..and I have forwarded this forum to the new owner...hopefully he will join as well.

yep...that was part of the the floorboards. It all came as a set.
I probably could have gotten more for the bike...but I bought it for a steal and I wasnt looking to make a bunch of money on it. I got what I had in it. So now I just payed that forward to the new owner..and he looks as happy as I was to get her and that was worth it. I have a real good feeling that she will be well taken care of and most importantly....she will be riden a lot...and that is what she was made for.

Have fun and enjoy that Venture Royal Lockman. I agree the new owner got a nice GL at a great price. Hope to see him on the forum, and at a rally or two this summer.
