I like that look alot, but I think I'd paint the ammo boxes black also, make it sort of an all stealth look, either that or keep them green and paint the rest of the bike to match, make it a military theme. It had the high handle bars, safety bars on the engine, horrible mirrors and a c tank. Still lot of work needs to be done, espacialy get rid of those hugh turn signals! cx500 1981, cafe racer project love the thrill    Report

I wonder how you can get the 90' lever to go down when it's being pulled on an angle rearward? It looks as if the foot lever would have to 'grow' longer or shorter to work each shift. I want to change my shifter. I think and 'S" shape or "Z" will do fine without any linkage. I already have a two into one right side header so there's no interferance problem with the pipe.
