Set of very nice 82 turbo wheels on eBay
Reply Quote
Don't want to start a stamped, but there is a set of turbo wheels with brake discs all the way around!

They are in very nice condition. $300 buy it now with free shipping via UPS ground.

A bit pricey, but no other bike use these wheels.

Post back if you buy them now.

Jerry, How did you like your Z200 - I had one many years ago. I have put 140,000 km on my Z250C, and it's still on it's first motor.

Don - My blue KZ200 was a great 1st bike in 1979 when I weighed 150lbs. But my friends at the time laughed at me. I was too big for the bike at about 6'.

Here is the path to see the turbo wheels - 3 day + left to make them yours...

Jerry, My Z200 came to me with a dis-assembled front disc brake, and no manual - a real teaser to get going properly. My son wrecked its front wheel when a lady driver diverted him straight into a 6" high concrete median-strip edging - caused many spokes to strip their threasds in the nipples, and the rim was VERY second-hand, of course. Great motor - IF you keep the oil up to it.
What's this "1979 when I was 150 lbs" - I was 150 lbs in 1969, and still weigh in at 150 lbs - perhaps that is why I still get good economy from my GL500I - 60 MPG on highway running in Oz (Oops - our gallon is a bit larger than yours - 4.54 litres versus 3.8 litres).

Don,

You still weigh 150#'s because your junk food isn't cheap enough like it is in the states. I'm 205.. but its mostly muscle :-)

Our bikes are getting about the same mileage. I am getting about 51.9 MPG after swaping out to the 17" rear wheel (it was about 49.6 MPG on the 16" wheel). Yours works out to about 50.2 MPG on the same size gallon...

Spacetiger, Do you have rear disks on your '82?? Or does it just appear that way. Also looks like '78 or '79 wheels on the front. Do you have a blowup picuture?

Yes on the rear disc.

Front wheel is a 78 GL1000 and rear is a 79 GL1000 (with disc)
