OK - here's the deal.  This bike has been sitting for about 10 years in this condition.  An accident tore up all the body work and it was discarded.  What you see is what you get.  Don't know how many miles, don't know much more than these pics.  I didn't take the pics - owner's uncle (who owns the shed, but lives about 3 hours away from here) took them a couple weeks ago.  Might have a title - owner now lives in Georgia, and has no idea where it's at.  So how much do I offer him?  I know it's worth a decent amount parted out, but I really want to keep and ride it (most likely 'naked').  Finding all the bodywork would cost a small fortune I think.  So here's the pics: '78 CX500 frame/79ish CX500 engine    Report

If you're seriously thinking of  buying it, I'd ask where the instruments are - you might find them in that box behind the bike - and that should give you the miles travelled  by the bike. Don.
