I know these bikes are kind of coveted BUT does anyone here think that anyone would pay SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS for it ?

One too many zero's in that price
1981 Honda GL500 - 32.000 miles. Purchased off of Craigslist for $100 and used primarily for committing felonies.

Wow, I thought I was going to see an ad from someone asking $6000 for a CX.
Do some of you guys really think a '79 CBX is worth $600.00?
If I were in the market for a mint low mileage '79 CBX, my budget would be about $9K.
Yes, it needs a head gasket and carb work but if the bike has low miles, really is original and looks as nice as it does in the pictures, $6K isn't exactly a crazy asking price.

NO, not at all...I know it's worth more than $600....but $6000 ? Maybe along the lines of $3000-$4000.
But hey it's all in the eyes of the purchaser I guess !!

A guy i know in FL sells the cbx he finds here in the states to guys in Norway .. He gets BIG money for them ...BIG Money
