Hey TIMKIM, I just got an 82 GL500I, wasn't working when I got it, but now it is, needs some work though, but I am able to ride it. How long have you had your Silverwing?

This is the 2nd summer I have been riding the SilverWing! 500GL's are good machine, for what I have been hearing the GL loves high RPM's (when your on the interstate)

TimKim, Yeah, I'm in Edmond, but right now, my GL500i is going through some major surgery. Some idiot who had it before me tried to seal the rusted gas tank with some cheap stuff, and now I'm trying to clean it all out and seal it with the KBS Coatings cycle tank sealer. Then I have to rebuild the carbs. :( My carb kits are on the way, so hopefully I will be up and running in a couple of weeks. email me at brett at soonerhealing dot com and we'll get together sometime!
