I dont like ride in the city. At best - i ride in the Moscow region. But today i wanna go to "old town" and make any photo for family album.
If you like it - i can post more (sorry for quality - we make photo at riding bike)

Thanks for sharing those pictures. For those of you that may not know. The first picture is one of the entrances to Red Square, and the third is on the other side of Red Square. The Kremlin is on the left over his right shoulder and St Basil's is on the rigth over his left shoulder.
Moscow is a wild place to drive much less ride. I can' think of anywhere similar except maybe Rome.

Oh, yeah, Eagle 1935! You was in Moscow? One reason, why i dont like in the city - traffic. I dont work as driver, but my boss ask me to ride, when the traffic is very heavy and ride in car is madness.... Also, dumm drivers - the street, those i go to job is near my home, but i make a circle for save my life!

Russia is a very unknown place for me. I couldn't tell you much about it other than you guys like your vodka and it's cold up there. But from your pictures it looks like a fairly nice place. Thanks for sharing.

Today the weather is very good and i go home near Kremlin, for make any foto for you. Diesel08, in Russia is cold "white winter" only!The green winter" is not cold! (another Russian joke. Realy, bike seasson is from may to september....... :( )

Moscow street - very bad quality - in right hand throttle and front brake lever, in left - camera. No good sound - wind......

Hey WildRussian,
Are the "soviet block" cars as bad as some people have claimed? These cars like the Lada, the Volga, the Vaz, and the Gaz. [I saw a Lada I believe in your picture of the cars]
Did these cars fall apart on a regular basis? Did they ride like an Ox cart and accelerate like a sailboat on a still day? I ask only as a curiosity because some cars in Russia and the USA are garbage but some are great. I believe many of us are car fans as well as motorcycle fans and some Russian cars would be cool to see with first hand stories!

Hi, Dana_h_acdc! Now in Russia is three big factories that produce cars. Lada (Vaz) in Tolgati (near Samara), Volga (GAZ) in Nizhniy Novgorod and Moscvich (AZLK) in Moscow. Let's not talk about Moscvich - there now collect Renault Logan (as Ford near Saint Petersburg and Toyota). In fact, left two - Lada and Volga. The quality of cars that are sold domestically and those that we export is very different (not in favor of the former). I never drove a car, but more than 10 years I have been working on the car service. I saw a lot of cars and motorcycles from Russia, Europe, America and Japan. Think. on the technical condition and maintenance I can judge accurately.
Japanese - reliable and cheap (any age). U.S. - expensive and comfortable (until the new (sorry)). In addition to GM. This brand is a good first 2-3 years. Then I would advise you to sell it. Particularly expensive, inconvenient and difficult - Isuzu. European - too expensive. For myself I would never buy a Russian car. At the moment it is unreasonably expensive for your equipment model (any). Such options as SRS, ABS, hydraulic valve tappets, power steering are not even available for extra money.
How viable plant me more sympathetic GAZ (Volga). In the difficult situation he was not asking donations from the government. Following the market situation he corrects his mistakes, create new models. In the "problem" news about him do not hear anything. It works, earns money and lives. Poor or not - but their own.

Also, i ask - Stalin, Khruschev, Brezhnev (Brezhnev was collectioner of a car and like speed ride), Gorbachev (Oh, Mr. Gorby!) use russian car. But now - Putin and Medvedev ride on Mercedes Benz. Why?

I agree totally many new USA cars have too many added Technologies [ABS, Active Stability Control, Traction control, Heated Seats, heated mirrors, Automatic gear shift, Electric windows, electric seats, electric mirrors, Automatic climate control with air-conditioning, Tire pressure monitoring systems, Airbags]
These run up the cost of a vehicle and cut into the profits of a company. If GM made a good small car cheap without all of these added items and sold it for a reasonable price they would not be having these problems (not guaranteed because most large corporations are run by greedy Bureaucrats that know nothing about their products)
Many US cars and trucks made in the last 10 years here have been having issues with Quality and Build problems. No newer vehicle can be easily repaired without expensive electronic equipment. Chevy and Ford pickup trucks have been rusting very bad. The small cars have had brake, suspension, and automatic transmission problems. The Front-wheel-drive mini vans have always had transmission problems and the SUV's are too big and get fuel economy lower than the pickup trucks.
Our Entire Automotive market is in trouble whether they will admit it or not. There will be another bankruptcy because the companies DO NOT learn from their mistakes.
Hondas are Great
Toyotas made before 2000 are great
Nissans are great
Dodge trucks are good
ANY VEHICLE MADE BEFORE 1977 is good too before emissions destroyed the power as long as it has power brakes
That Is enough for my rant. I hate most new cars made in the USA and new
foreign cars are not much better.
