BAND question, the pressure was out of whack.the nurse asked me how i felt,i said out of breath ,,,,,,1st  BAD response,,, she asked if any chest pain,,,i said no only tight chest ,,,, 2ND  BAD response,,,,, she said how i got to the Dr ,,i said ,,,on my motorcycle ,,,, 3rd BAD response ,,,,,,, go me a  free pass ... yes got me an ambulance ride to the hospital  ,,,,,, and an over night stay ,,,,,,,, DR. makes a small 1/2 inch cut on your right leg ,,,,,,,,, sticks a wire up the vain to your H E A R T !!!!! ,,, the best  part ,,,i saw it all on TV!.... i have the stitch to prove it i'll show all the girls at work......... i thing my work made my pressure go up SOO H I G H ,,,,i'll send them the bill...all is well with the heart,,,,what happen STRESS is what happen i think i need training wheels on gl650i    Report

Only diff was I was in a car! Stress is a big part. If you will do what your doc advises and especially change your DIET maybe you can avoid following my path. Septal wall infarct of indeterminate age!  "That's odd, it seems like I would remember having a heart attack". He cancelled my surgery and sent me across the street to the cardiologist.  The cardiologist administered a dobutamine stress test (injecting drugs to race the heart in lieu of using a treadmill).  It also said septal wall infarct of indeterminate age.  Damn. He sent me to Charlotte to have a heart cath (what you just had).  Outside of I thought I was going to die from the table killing my back, good news!  All of my coronary arteries are clear.  The previous tests were false positives.  I did learn that I am allergic to Betadine.  They poured that stuff all over my groin and it turned fire engine red and stayed that way for over a week.  I itched in places my arms weren't long enough to reach. Pass the french fries. I had the surgery (successfully) followed by a hip replacement (also successful).  No signs of any heart problems these days.  As an aside, I packaged up all of the cardiologist's notes and shipped them off to the flight surgeon's office in Oklahoma City.... got my flight physical back after a hiatus of 13 years D/T them wanting me to have a stress test following something they (and only they) saw on an earlier EKG.  I never had the stress test done because they cost $2000 or more... but this time the insurance company picked up the cost.  Sweet. I don't fly anymore.  I flew up until my last medical expired and then hung it up.  Can't afford to feed airplanes and my other hobbies at the same time.  2600 hours/two accidents/one injury/one civil penalty for buzzing (unrelated to accidents).  I quit while I was ahead.  Now I'll die on a motorcycle instead of in an airplane or at the hands of a jealous husband.
