1000 miles of florida +/-

this is 2 separate trips in just over a week
first trip to a vespa rally in brooksville fl. It aslo servers as the first test drive with all my new toys. The bike had been completed the night before. luckily i got the break rebiuld correct.
Do to a summer brown out yesterday, this is my second attempt at this. and much less enthusiastic.
we apologize for any inconvenience
our rout
didnt really stick to it
made our usual mid way camping sight afew hours before dark camp
Wife has us well stocked this time.
 
our traveling partners show up just before dark, the trip that took us all day, they made in under 2hours,
fresh catfish and a giant steak, a good time was had by all.
my poor cx has to keep up with these
Arcadia for breakfast
smoking is encouraged
very tight turn for us floridians
a little to tight,as we had to pull off mid way
herbs lime stone country club
another 4 hours to brooksville
lots of pics of blurred cows(mooow) and wild pigs(gnarl grunt), and turkeys
theses guys really scare me now
my next car
camp made
3 days of 2 stroke debauchery to fallow
sleep away camp
if your going to do it, at least keep both hands on the bars. The bike did drop me latter that night
fresh water mussels, from a "swimming hole" that closely resembled a bog
the stretch home involved to many windy turnpike miles. I need a wind screen.
love bugs
a rear occasion, seeing the front of the kawasakis.
we left our riding partners (with wind screens). and rode US1 and A1A the rest of the way home
Quick stop for bbq
last stop at the square grouper, made famous by Jimmy buffet "its 5oclock somewhere"
exhausted and cranky we arrive home well after happy hour. about 10 hours on the bike. 300+ miles.Thats a lot for us.
home a couple of days to tighten everything i forgot to tighten the first time. and off across the swamp.
all the new toys worked out great,
new toys include front end rebuild, break caliber rebuild, new progressive rear suspension, new helmet, break shoes, rear tire...
next trip fallowing soon.

Thanks for the ride a long visual. Looks like it was fun, except for the love bugs.

love bugs are no fun. i killed est. 19,000 and dont get how they still survive. i have a fondness for badgers, and cheese. send us some? we had a great time. heat not so bad. I had a dry day and a job about 50 miles away today., solo this bike kicks ass. hit 90 on the on ramp.new front tire, and some carb issues. will try to make it up there.thanks for reading
