I smoke occasionally, usually after an exceptionally crappy week. Djarum Blacks are my cancer stick of choice. I like to smoke hookah as well, but that's more of a thing to share over a drink with good friends.

I started on Camel nonfilters 25 years ago. Switched to Bugler roll my own when the prices hit $5 a pack.

Camel shorts for me as well for a while, but I quit about 8 years ago. They really do hook you, even now after years of no smoking I'll think "I could really use a smoke right now"

I started smoking when cigarettes were 25 cents a pack (11 cents at the PX when I was in the Army). I quit just about the time they hit two bucks.
At two packs a day it would cost me about seventy five dollars a week if I smoked now. I don't know how someone can afford to smoke but it's like
anything, if it gives you pleasure go for it.

I've only smoked a handful of times in my life...my boyfriend is a pack a day smoker. He smokes Marlboro Reds, which are around 6 bucks a pack around here. That's about $180 bucks a month. The upside is that I don't feel bad spending money on the motorcycles because it's still less over the course of the year than his smoking habit!

Not that kind of herbs! lol Although it is just about 4:20 here =)
Search feebay or the Interweb for herbal smoking blends. It's actually herbs and spices like the Indian and early period people used to smoke. I switched over to them last New Years, haven't bought cigarette tobacco since then.
I mix pipe tobacco with the herbals as a filler so I technically still smoke tobacco but hopefully that will change soon. I need to quit before I lose what little singing voice I have left!

I thankfully quit my 3-4 pack a day habit cold turkey in 1993, when cigs were about a buck a pack.
I saw some here at the Jewel selling for nearly $10 a pack.
Crack is probably cheaper these days -lol

I have a cigar now and then, maybe 12 a year. 34 years ago I quit a 10 year 2 pack a day cigarette habit (lucky strikes and pall mall), jones a bit now and then and bum one. I could never figure out how to smoke while riding a motorcycle though.

back in military school at 13 i started to smoke Marlboro back then 25 cents,,, till the age of 27 ,,,28 years later have not smoked
i think i need training wheels on gl650i

Pom Pom cigars also known as Swsher Sweets. I max at 2 a day usually one. If I have more than that I am coughing up a lung. Filthy habit but oh so fine after a hard day.

I started smoking in Jr. High. I even smoked while riding! It was funny, I would ride with a cig and when I stopped I would find that the tobacco has burned down inside the paper, leaving an empty tube! I smoked until the summer my son was born, 1966. Now I will "puff" on a cigar or two a year and thats it. My favorite brother died a terrible death from enphasema (?), his lungs were like cheese cloth, the air he was breathing actually was escaping from his lungs and his skin was blowing up like a balloon! I never want to see that happen to anyone I know. Sorry I didn't mean to get on my soap box, just can't help it on this subject.

I didn't start smoking until I was 18(53 now).Boredom of a crappy job.Changed to roll-ups when I was 27.Can do 30+ on a good day 
Had a lung function test recently and am only 1 year behind of my age which considering the my main work has been as an Aircraft painter(but I've always used masks)is not bad.
Although we all know smoking is bad there are worse things to be addicted to.I agree that it can cause lung and chest problems I'm not wholly convinced of it's connections to cancer.As they find more out about cancer I believe susceptibility to it and it's forms may be in the genes and in the not too distant future it may,with luck,be a thing of the past.

I gave up the habit about 10 years ago... but when I did, it was Parliaments cuz they were buy 1 get 1 free. When they hit $3/Pack, it wasn't worth it to me anymore. I have recently picked the pipe back up, though... I'm in love with the "Southern Peach" blend. Like smoking a cobbler!!

I started with my mom’s Winstons at 6. Was a daily smoker of Marlboros at 12. Over the last 41 years I tried hypnosis, gum, and patches and I always ended up smoking more. When MLB reach $2 a pack, I switched to generic Golden Blend. When those reached $2 a pack. I switched to RYO with an injector and filtered tubes (3 packs per day). When RYO bypassed $2, I switched to an electronic cigarette. Now, I have no fear of ever returning to smoke.

I suppose I'm the newbie in this crowd. I didn't smoke until senior year of high school. (3 yrs ago) I never really considered myself a smoker until I went to France (2 yrs ago) and there is where I started my pack-a-day habit. Started with Marlboro Lights at 3.95 a pack and when they hit five bucks so I switched to Basic Lights. And now they're about the same price as the Marlboro's?!? Can someone explain this to me because I don't get it.

"Smoke? I`ve smoke and will smoke! But drink!!?? I`ll never stop!"(Russian joke). My first cigarete was 20 years back. After i`ve not smoke 2 years. Now i "use" 20 (or more) Winston classic everyday. Wanna leave it, but cant..... :(
As i know, it is very easy, if start "leave smocking" on morning. Morning after. ( :) ) But now is seasson and i vote for ride, not drink beer..... Think, this summer ill smoke.....
Also: "Wake up, drink cafe and have not ciggarete?? For fhat i have wake up??" - another joke..... My morning is very heavy cafe and two Winston..... (Not eat!) I read e-mail and go to job. For 30 minutes i have 3 cigaretes too (until start, in place with heavy traffic and when stop engine).
OK, i`ll smoke one and after it post new theard! :)

I started smoking at the age of 17. US ARMY boot camp in the North Carolina's piney woods. Every evening sitting in front of our pup tents burning the ticks asses so they would back out of various soft tissue areas where they would suck our blood and infect us if unattended. Nobody wanted anybody else applying a hot butt to someone else's balls so I did it myself. I got up to 3 packs a day before I quit 32 years ago.

I started at 14(29 now) I have lost all 4 Grandparents to cancer. My dad is 49 smoked since 15 quit 2 years ago. he is doing great. Although I will probably lose my mom from it some day. I have two kids of my own 2 and 4 year old boys. I have tried to quit a few times since my oldest was born. Damn things keep dragging me back!!
GIVE ME A SAWSALL, WELDER, GRINDER, AND A STACK OF METAL....MY HANDS AND IMAGINATION WILL DO THE REST!! NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE YOU JUST HAVE TO FIND THE RIGHT PERSON TO HELP IF YOU CANT "DO IT YOURSELF"!!
