06-23-2010, 9:25 PM Lowlife1220 Joined on 03-23-2010 Gilbert,AZ Posts 172 gauge back lighting what do you all use for back lighting on your gauges? oem or has anyone done something different? i got a hold of a bunch of ricer leds that i was using for my idiot lights since i ditched the center section between the gauges. a long time ago i pulled the backlights on the gauges cuz they were all burnt out and i lost the sockets. i took two of the leds, thred thru them the original holes and wired them to the high beam switch. looks good in blue but there should probably be three in each gauge. i am curious to what every body else does 1981 Honda Gl500. Seems like leds are a good way to go and you could back light in any color you want. Rusty 1981 CX500C    Report
