Alright, I apologize to anyone that thinks I want to host a garage party but I have a very crowded garage, no tools, and even less sense around engines. What I am hoping is that someone might be interested in helping me overhaul my rear brakes and maybe my shocks. I have the manuals, this site, and lot's of reading materials. I'm even willing to buy the parts, new tools, and whatever (within legal reason) that makes the host happy if they can help me figure this out. It's just that I work so much better hands on and with someone that has experience close by than I do by myself. Let me know if there are any interested parties. Most days work out for me right now so let me know.

I was about to offer my garage, but Greg beat me to it (and his place will be more convenient for you.) The offer stands, though, if the other falls through.

Okay Gang.......
Brit and I have gotten our schedules together and have come up with this:
Do to our respective work schedules, we will be doing his brakes on Wednesday June 30th starting at around 9am (that's right isn't is Brit?)
Any and all are welcome to come and help or visit.
Bandit....does this give you enough time to buy that ticket to the Twin Cities (MSP)??? 
Let me know if we have any more than Brit and I....I will grill hot dogs for lunch......
Further up dates as needed as we get closer to the day.

Hi Guys,
There is a change of plans....We are moving the day from Wednesday to Thursday.
Same time, 9am, just on Thursday instead of Wednesday.
Again let me know if any more will be able to attend...I'll provide some cooked meat, etc.

Not sure if I could make it in the morning but I believe Thursday will be the motorcycle gathering at Dulano's Pizza in the afternoon. I'm gonna try to make that at least. You guys going?

Had a successful Garage Party here today....
Surforski showed up @ 9am and we had the rear tire/rim off, old parts off, new parts on in about an hour and a half (not counting the trip to the hardware store for cotter pins).
After that Brit and I went on a nice 45 mile ride just to break in the brakes....he said they were working fine.
Hopefully the next needed "garage party" will be on a weekend and we can have a larger gathering.

Greg, I was actually driving through your neighborhood this morning and was going to stop and say "hi" but then I got a phone call that a plumber and insulator were going to be meeting me in Eden Prairie. Had to keep rolling....
Glad you and Brit got it apart and all together again!
