I'm still trying to find a set of '83 cx650c carbs. gutted carb bodies would work as well. If anybody has any or knows someone please let me know.

hate to rub it in, but some gl650 carbs sold on ebay last night for around $25. I bid on them once just cause they looked like they were going to go for a little of nothing. I'm pretty sure they are the same carbs (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
If true, keep watching the 'bay.

Buck, I have a set of carbs I could sell you, but I sell them totally rebuilt and ready to go for $275.00. I could take $25.00 off if you would send me all the old parts you have left from the bad ones you have.
If your interested I'll have to order some ACV valves for them first. It will take about a week though.

Yes they are, and no they are not.
CX650C carburetors are ME8 671
GL650 Carburetors are ME2 671
CX650E Carburetors are MG7 21
Same carburetors, all jetted differently.
CX500 Turbo, GL650I, Two CX650E's, and one Crown Jewel of the CX line- CX650T.
Why do I own five CX/GL bikes? Ask an alcoholic why he drinks.

The only difference I have seen in them is the secondary jet. It's either a 118 or a 122. Other than that the carbs are the same.
If your going to do something, do it right, don't do it half as@*d.
