What do you think a european tank looks like?
Does it look like this?

I bet he means he got a Deluxe style tank, not a Euro. Just a hunch.

Stitch,
I had not thought about the E model gas tank. It was made for the Prolink frame the GL model uses. I'm guessing the tank would fit a GL bike. What do you think? I need to find a tank that is about 14" wide max.

oops you're right. but after looking at it a bit closer it may not even be a delux tank. ill try and get a picture posted sometime soon so you guys can see it. i looks real close to a delux tank. has honda badges on it and is more square-ish than my tank. it has the "C" shaped mounts in the front like the delux but the top where the gas door is, is raised and the locking door is almost sqare too. i dont know what it came from but it looks bigger so i want it for more fuel. what do you think?

I thought most Gl's had a dummy tank which was actually a cover to the tank. The question is how old are you thinking.

GL 500, or Silverwing. The ones with the little trunk that replace the pasenger seat. I think they hold more than the Delux. Almost bought one, but it had no cap......
