OT Dave Cook inline 4 custom

With all this talk we do about swapping and adapting this or that, I knew you guys would like this bike from Cook customs. They took a CB550 engine and turned it sideways, cut away the transmission and added a BMW trans and Yamaha drive shaft unit.
All this was done so expertly you would swear it was a 1920's inline 4. Add in the springer fork, perimeter disk brakes custom exhaust and intake ect. ect.
Does this inspire?

Ok now it's ugly.
Actually I would like to see it in a different frame.
Didn't this guy build a copper colored bike last year? Maybe a trike?

Awww. I thought it was a cool nostalgic twist on a custom. They had a Norton powered bike with lots of copper and bare oxidized steel. It looked quite "organic" to my eye, not a strait line to be found. I liked that one too.

Good call on the Nimbus. I had never heard of it. Made till the 1960's.
