Taking a trip out to atwood lake indiana in less than 2 weeks. Anyone know any good routes/sightseeing in the area? I'm riding the bike there, and would like to check out some cool stuff. Anything within about an hour, hour and a half would be perfect.
Any ideas guys?

nobody? GOOGLE hasnt been too helpful with this either....all i get is paid attraction crap. im just looking for some routes to go cruise on that have anything cool to see.

There aren't any routes that are specifically memorable. A lot of countryside to see. And a lot of road apples to avoid. LaGrange County overall is a pretty quiet place. It does have a lot of Amish (I suppose that breeding is about all the fun they are allowed), in fact even the courthouse has hitching posts outside. Always kind of fun to count the number of Amish using cell phones. The town of Shipshewana can be a fun place as it has perhaps the largest flea market in the state and some very good Amish restaurants. Other than that, there's not much more that I can tell you. If you want quiet in abundance, you should have your fill.

Oh, im looking forward to the trip. were in a house right on the lake. was just hoping for some tips on some rides, but hey, i can live with just countryside.
