Thanks..
I'm dirty, sweaty, and full of dust... AND pretty lit on Captain. Came home from a football meeting (I take pics for the local youth football league), poured a drink and started sanding/ priming.
Wanted to say thank you though- to all of those who have helped me. I know it's not done yet, but I have all of the plastic off, so I'm one step closer, and SO grateful! I log on every day, and it pushes me on and on, in the hopes that one day my bike can one day look as nice as some of the ones on here- and to get help from someone who has already been here.. it's amazing! The bf can help me, sure.... but he doesn't have a bike, never has, and MAYBE one day he will/...... but not yet. So thank you to the ones who have answered what seems to be even the dumbest question. I have been trying to do this as much by myself as possible, so when it's all done, I can say I did it, and not the bf... LOL.... What good is it to talk about your bike that your boyfriend did the work on?
Thank You, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!

Re: Thanks..
No thanks needed. Just pictures.
If my girlfriend ever gets a bike she will paint it too. I might do the prep work and shoot a good clear but everything else in the middle is all hers.
She has been painting a junk tank I had powdercoated right now. Mise well give it some life since it would otherwise be in the dumpster. It rusted out from the inside.
