I live in Bellingham, plan to go to a motorcycle swap meet in Monroe on Sunday. I thought for some reason it was last week. Good thing it wasn't, this weekend looks better.

Well,

Would love to meet you and that bike of yours.
As I posted earlier, there is a swap meet in Monroe just east of Everett. Don't expect much in our stuff, but would be a good ride for you weather allowing and I can finally meet another twisted twin bro.

how bout next month? fingers crossed it'll be on the road again.  Great idea though.  i've seen a handful of CX/GL's on the road the past few days.  actually i swear i saw nick (clumzy - however he spells it) on I-5.  my car had broken down (come to find out my battery cable was just loose) but i heard him first, then saw him ride by.  tuesday and wednesday i saw a CX commuting out of Woodinville/Redmond.

anyway... GOOD IDEA

Definitely let me know when you're going riding in April. I live in Kenmore and would thoroughly enjoy a group ride.

I'm south of you guys, in Vancouver, next to Portland Or.  Would be nice to find a mid point....maybe take Mt. St. Helens run.  I did that solo a few years back and its quite scenic.  I have yet to take the long one up to the Seattle area, but I suppose its not out of the question some time.

Cool,

It's been a while since I've been to St. Helens. I also bought my current bike in Longview. Thinking about another bike down in Oregon.

I'm in Olympia. Not sure if I was on I-5 recently except right in and around Olympia. I actually just took my first big ride on the bike, from Olympia to Port Townsend. 100+ miles almost entirely on 101, right along the Olympics and Hood Canal. BEAUTIFUL! If you see me, I'll be wearing a white helmet, black Joe Rocket riding jacket, and the bike will black, dirty and LOUD. -nick

Yesterday my wife and I just did the Whidby Island loop ,left home @9:am North bound 405 to I 5 down to Mukiltio and took Ferry across Puget Sound to the south end of Whidby Island. Rode north on Hwy 20 thru Coupeville,Oak Harbor, Stopped at Deception Pass ST Park (Decepton pass is a narrow channel separating the North end of the island from the Mainland. During tide changes the water can flow thru the channel at over 20 NTs its quite a sight)
Continuing on to La Conner than east to HWY 9 south and home @ 5:30 pm round trip 190 miles

Nice ride.
Pix are always nice too...

A lot of things going on out this way this week(end).

Native "pullers" (canoes) at Neah Bay probably the biggest thing;expecting a crowd of 10,000.

Airshow at Port Townsend.

Lavender Festival at Sequim.

Lots of smaller celebrations of all kinds.

Weather's finally getting good, sun's out by noon lately! (mid 60s*)
