Don't forget the splash shield as it is different in the 650's so I bet it's different in this one too.

Oddly enough, stock splash shield works fine with the CX650 TURBO clutch :)

GL650 is 35/74 If you coild get that gaer assy to work you would propably have to get some one to push you up to about 30 mph just to take off in first gear. That's just too much of a jump.

A gl650 assembly will work fine with no pushing. And Doward probably went to the extremes with the turbo clutch.

Yes, I can definitely say that the bike won't just take off if you dump the clutch - you will stall out (running the CX650 Turbo clutch, which, to my knowledge is the steepest ratio'd primary gear Honda ever put in the CX family)
As long as I utilize that 'Friction Zone' they kept harping on in the MSF, I have no problem taking off, even on hills (or what constitutes a 'hill' here in Florida!)
That said, I do intend to drop my 18" rear wheel down to the 16" wheel + CX650T clutch setup wheel to compare - I think the 18" wheel might be a bit too much for me, pre-Turbocharging.
