82 cx 500 custum with carb issues.

I have a 82 cx 500 custom with custom exhaust and UNI air filter.  The carbs have been jetted up.  I do not remember the numbers because it was done two years ago and the bike has run perfectly since then.  I just wanted everyone to understand my set up.

Yesterday I hopped on it to go to work and it started with the choke and ran normally but when i started riding and accelerated past 3 to 4000 rpms one cylinder dropped.  It seems above 4000 rpm or whenever i attempt to accelerate one cylinder fails.

I have checked out my plug wires and caps and verified that my water drain holes are clear (i went through that debacle last year).  I am not highly knowledgeable about carbs but I think this sounds like some gunk in the carbs (main jets)?   What does everybody think?  Thanks.

Swap plugs over and try new ones.

Swap Plug caps over and see if the problem moved from one side to the other to troubleshoot these components.
