Hi my friends,as im waitting for the new rims i found a way to swapp the ecxisting drum with a disk brake for the rear wheel,this is the temporary phase of cx and because here is summer and summer without the bike is not acceptable so i've done a test drive and it working fine so far,more test are comming ther are the fotos i hope you enjoy them and any comment is welcome





















if you dont do the kneesliding your are too slow

Wow, very cool.
How is the aluminum caliper mounting plate secured to keep from rotating.
Also, can you show use a picture of your solution to mount the master cylinder for the rear?

you will see the disk of earlier goldwing that is raised about 1.5-2.00 c.m and about 6mm thick and it didnt work because i didnt have that space between the center and the left side of the swingarm so i change that with a disk from kawashaki gpz 400 of 88 model from the front wheel and this disk is 4mm thick and flat,as for the brucket see the foto below.PS i also put a spacer between the aluminioum centre and brucket.also another brucket from the top side of calliper to swingarm.Thanks for your coment.

its from ducati monster 600 with single disk 320mm
if you dont do the kneesliding your are too slow

it cost me 35 euros only, the aluminioum plate.
if you dont do the kneesliding your are too slow

the next moves that i m going to make is an electronic speedometer with all the elements that i want - front rim 3' gold - rear wheel with gold rim 4.25' and 150/60/17 tyre - left and right side covers under the seat from carbon-fiber and finaly the rear shocks ohlins for cb 750 of 79-84 year thats for now and will see

Very cool and genius set-up with that rear disc brake. And those exhaust pipes are Bad-Ass!

For future reference, in case any of us want to do this, do you have some dimensions or a cad drawing or something of the adapter you had made?
