Hey everyone - rookie cafe project guy and rookie forum poster here, although I've spent a good number of hours reading through things over the past week or so. I just aquired my first CX500 (1978), and am researching cafe customizations. I was checking out Roc City Cafe seats (after reading about them on Steve F's post) and wanted to know what styles others had installed on their cafe projects. The site mentions that the Composite Roadster Cafe Seat has been a choice for the CX500 (http://www.roccitycafe.com/item.php?path=store/cbrs,), but I am not sure how other models might install and look. Please let me know it anyone has installed other models (pics would be great) or if you have a recommendation on where else to look. -mikey- 1978 CX500 2006 VTX1300R    Report

The main thing for me was checking length and more importantly width so I didn't have to modify the frame much.  The Roadster seat was the only one I found that was wide enough :)  I was going to make my own but this was actually cheaper and a lot easier. Found your posts very helpful as I'm planning out my project. How do you recommend affixing the badges on your tank? I have read some suggestions of auto tape or sylicone glue, but that doesn't seem sturdy enough to me (although I have never tried it, so guess I can't really say).
