right guys, the british government will not back down on this sham.so,on behalf of all the brits on this forum, this is the appology the the US folks.

the libian terrorist who, decided that it would be a good idea to bring a plane down over lockerby some years back has been released under the pretense that his death was very iminent.
what crap.
now its possibly emerging that BP were in on the sham to obtain a muti million pound contract within libia.

now i can see why i made a wise decision many moons ago....not to vote.
they are all deceitful liars

when i feel the need,i do it,llego,ve 60,s

Are you sure that was washing that was going on? Seemed to resemble another motion.

The decision of the Scottish government to release him on compassionate grounds seemed a noble and humane gesture at the time. Seems a cynical ploy now. At the time he was said to have three months to live. Now there are reports that reveal he may not be as sick with cancer as first believed and is expected to live another 10 years. I feel badly for the victims relatives, who were callously used for political purposes.
Politics was once a profession to be admired and aspired to. Doing good for the people. Politicions now are on the low end of the trustabilty scale. I would compare them to other professions for a general lack of integrity but that would be insulting to the others. It's the world we live in SB.

I agree enthusiastically with everything stated here so far.

There is no reason for our current government except to make certain people rich at the expense of the working man.

Unfortunately we are to fat and lazy to do anything about it.

The Romans had a great system. Every year all eligible man (you should include women these days, they can't do any worse than us.) would draw a stone from an ampule (large jar).

If you got a black stone you served in the senate that year. Like it or not.

No elections. No terms or "Good Old Boy" Network.

Our politicians don't serve us. They serve themselves and their only concern is to get re-elected.

Pffft, probably 85% of them are worthless.

At one time politicians were universally held in contempt, and regarded as being in the same league as highwaymen, card sharks, and snake oil salesmen.
Somewhere along the way they remade their image and are held up to be pillars of the community. It is about time we went back to seeing them for what they really are: swindlers and thieves!

IMHO they should all be hanged for treason.

May the wind always be at your back and the sun overhead as you make your way down the ever winding, smoothly paved, traffic free road!

No, hanging is too good for him. I would have released him...........from about 25,000 feet over Tripoli. Let him experience what his victims did as they fell to their deaths.
