So I began wondering to myself "I wonder if they die of the smacking into it or die because of the heat first ?" I wonder which kills them first ? I think the smacking into it kills them I think the HEAT kills them first This is ridiculous, why did you even make up this poll ? I have one question: how are there any bugs left????!!!! I think there surely is an ecological disaster just around the corner as the last bug on earth runs into a Mack truck. All the birds will then die, then those animals which rely on birds (are there any???), sooner or later you and me are extinct because we carelessly drive our vehicles headlong into certain disaster. I think a government funded study is needed. We will probably have to lower the world wide speedlimit to 15 MPH to give the poor buggers a chance to get out of our way. I'm a member of "The GM Family" thus can swing certain discounts in many ways and on that one it required that I pick it up from a dealer in Atchison, KS. I flew up there, dealer picked me up at the KC airport, took delivery of the car and started driving the long way back West across Kansas. Out in the middle of nowhere I stopped for gas & a coke and had to clean a ton of bugs off the just hours earlier pristeen windshield. I remarked that there sure were a lot of bugs on this stretch of Kansas road compared to my home state of Oklahoma and without even pausing the cashier sad: "Those aren't Kansas bugs, they're Missouri bugs that prefer our crops over the ones in their home state.
