Hey guys! I have a CX500 Silverwing and I need to find some hard shell saddle bags and a trunk and maybe a **new** windsheild/console in whole! I am not asking for you to search for it for me...i can try that but, i wanted to know what you guys have and please give me the pros and cons....some hard shell and trunks shake alot. does yours???? Also how does the windsheild work in the summer...is it hot?
(I am from alabama and it gets HOT!)

So, is it a CX or a Silverwing? Similar engines, different bikes. the wings had their own Hondaline luggage/Fairings.

welcome from spain.
it gets hot here too.riding in 57c last summer.
the windshield is a godsend for me.not just for the blistering wind,but all the bugs that dont hit you at 65mph

Most full fairings on CX's I've seen are Vetters. They have vents in the WS to allow airflow. The other option is just a detachable WS, then you can go with or without depending on the weather.
Watch Ebay, and the selling forum here, you see them fairly often.
