Markland Trunk Relocation kit
Reply Quote
I'm planning on replacing my stock trunk with one from an 82 Goldwing, and I no longer need my Markland Relocation Kit. Chrome is in good condition, minimum rust in places you can't see with the trunk in place. Asking $200.00 plus $20.00 shipping.

I've wondered the same thing.  Definitely interested in results.
Edit:  Just found these posted elsewhere on the forums.

when i had my gl650 i bought one of those trunks to do that but never got around to it.  looks like it's the standard gl1100 mount for that trunk.  no longer have the bike but still have the trunk.  thanks for reminding me to post that on craigslist to clear some room in my shed.

did a quick ebay search for ya.

since i never got the mount, i have no clue how it was actually mounted to the bike.  but if you're handy with a welder, it wouldn't take much to fab up a mounting system for it.

I'm going up and back about 6 inches, I have a few mock-ups done and one bad attempt done with square tube stock. I want the new arrangement to allow easy removal and replacement of the side bags. I have a length of 1/2 inch rod stock at work, I'll try bending tomorrow, if it works out, I should have something nice on the bike next week.
If no one here wants the old kit, I'll put it on The Bay, along with the hitch set up...................

Jepp, fully aware of the shipping prices,
What will be the total price?
Would you be able to send a couple of photos of the kit?

Sure, I'll let you have it for U.S $175.00 plus $50 for shipping, for a total cost of U.S. 225.00
I take Pay pal if that works for you.
